PARCO DEI PRINCIPI, Sorrento – A Smart Stay in the City

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering a beautiful sea view as requested. However, there was a slight sewage smell upon entering, and the room location at the rear of the lift shaft made the lift mechanism noises quite audible. The service was mostly friendly and helpful, but I felt less valued by some staff. The location was great, with a private beach and stunning views, but the non-operating hotel shuttle was a letdown. The dining experience had its highlights with superb views but lacked variety in offerings. Despite some drawbacks, the facilities were good overall.

The hotel is nestled in a park-like setting high on the coast with wonderful views over the ocean, particularly from the restaurant. The service here is exemplary, and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, making you feel like you're revisiting a lovely hotel. The dining options provide local seafood, but there is room for improvement in variety. The location offers a mix of quiet seclusion and proximity to the city center, creating a unique paradise feel. However, there were some noise disturbances until midnight on two nights, affecting the otherwise excellent experience.

The rooms were some of the best I've experienced, with incredible views in every direction, especially overlooking the Bay of Napoli and witnessing stunning sunsets. However, the checkout time was a bit abrupt calling us down by the beach at 11:30. The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff willing to assist with anything. The location was simply breathtaking, perched on a cliff with tropical surroundings and an authentic Italian touch. The dining options were delicious and plentiful, offering a wide variety of dishes. Overall, a luxurious and memorable stay.
